Flooding Reminder! Stay Safe, Mendon![]()
We are seeing a significant amount of flooding in our area. Please keep the following safety reminders in mind:![]()
Do NOT drive through flooded roadways.
Even a small amount of moving water can carry a vehicle away. It is never worth the risk.![]()
Respect all road closure signs and barricades. They are there for your safety and conditions may be worse than they appear.![]()
Stay away from downed power lines and flooded electrical areas. Assume all wires are live and dangerous.![]()
Keep children and pets away from standing or moving water. Floodwater can be contaminated and hazardous.![]()
Report emergencies immediately.
If you see a dangerous situation, contact 911.![]()
Please use caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and look out for one another.![]()
Stay safe, everyone. 💙
Dry brush and debris can increase fire risk during early spring. Always follow local burn regulations and weather conditions. Keep water or extinguishing tools nearby when working outdoors. Responsible actions help prevent brush and grass fires.![]()
