***Important Update for Community Center Rentals – Insurance Requirement***

Due to recent policy changes, all Community Center rentals now require proof of insurance. Renters must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming:

Town of Mendon as an Additional Insured for the specific date(s) of your rental.

In most cases, this can be issued directly through your homeowner’s insurance policy, and it is commonly provided at no cost by insurance agents or carriers.

When requesting the certificate from your insurer, please use the following wording:

Town of Mendon is named as an Additional Insured for the date(s) of the event/rental at the Mendon Community Center.

The certificate must cover the entire rental period, including setup and cleanup time. If you have questions about this requirement, please contact your insurance agent first. They are very familiar with issuing these certificates.

Please note that by resolution of the Town Board, the lower level of the Community Center is for the sole use of American Legion Falls Post #664 and its adjunct organizations.
