BOOK CLUB ONLY DATE & LOCATION CHANGE.
Since Helen will not be here on May 27, we decided to change the date and location to May 20 at 11:00 – Mendon Public Library.
The book selection we will be reading is TRUST by Herman Diaz. Benjamin Rask marries a much younger woman and starts a Wall Street investment firm. In the 1929 crash he shorts the market and profits immensely. Racked by guilt over her husband’s role, Helen throws herself into funding economic-relief efforts; and her mental health declines.
Date for Social Meeting is unchanged – Tuesday May 27 at the Community Center – BYO lunch, Bingo, cards, games, etc.
