In 2024, Mary Repass earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award through the Totiakton Service Unit after dedicating about 90 hours to transforming the former Mendon Library into a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for local Girl Scouts. This incredible project created the only Girl Scout House in Monroe County!
Mary also established a Board of Scouts to help maintain the house and support its future growth, ensuring this space will continue to serve generations of Girl Scouts to come. Before this project, the Totiakton Service Unit did not have a dedicated meeting or storage space.
A special thank you goes to former Town Supervisor John Moffitt for granting permission to use the building and supporting the vision for this wonderful community space. They would also like to thank the Rotary for generously purchasing tables and chairs for the house.
Congratulations to Mary Repass on this outstanding accomplishment and dedication to our community! đ
We encourage everyone to stop by, tour the space, and celebrate this exciting addition to Mendon!
